Y si pienso en La Habana

​​“Y si pienso en la Habana” is the fifth movement of the extraordinary piece “Preludios de Primavera” by the well-known Cuban guitarist and composer Joaquin Clerch.
​​
​​The work is a tribute to Havana, the City of columns, and was created based on Clerch’s nostalgic thoughts of his home, the colorful island of Cuba.
​​
In addition to “Cuando tú no estás” and “El adiós”, ​​“Y si pienso en la Habana” was published as part of a video triology by Sarume in autumn 2019 .
​​
​​The Cuban born guitarist Junior Zambrana Sarracent is the central figure of this project. He has played as soloist at numerous guitar festivals. He is currently based in Düsseldorf, where he teaches at the Robert Schumann Musikhochschule.
